THE CHARACTER

Name - Daiki Kaitoh
Canon - Kamen Rider Decade
Point taken from canon - Just right after he arrives in the World of Diend, and before meeting Tsukasa (i.e.: before his appearance in episode 22).

History - "This will only hurt for a moment."

Personality - Daiki is a rather cheerful guy who gets in people's businesses all the time. But not just because that's how he simply is; he most probably acts that way just to annoy the crap out of you. That's because Daiki is an A-class troll. Don't like him? He would do nice things like cook food for you and your friends just to spite you.

But one of the most important things to remember about him is that all your treasures are belong to Daiki. Yes, Daiki likes and will steal treasures owned by others. Not just any kind of treasure, though; he usually goes for the most valuable ones in different worlds, and most of the time he won't stop at anything to get them. He'll do whatever it takes: Lying, breaking into property, attacking you, all is fair game. It really doesn't matter if someone gets in trouble because of his stealing, either, since for him, grabbing his treasure comes first and foremost.

So yeah, he's kind of a jerkish troll. What he cares about is how valuable the item you own is, and he most probably doesn't give a shit about you. Though he would fight alongside people if needed (and sometimes it turns him into a circumstantial hero), he still generally moves by his own rules, and would even escape mid-battle if he decides that there's nothing to gain out of it. But that's not all he is.

There are times when Daiki actually shows some form of kindness, and that's because Daiki wasn't always a self-centered thief. You see, Daiki once sincerely and strongly believed in something: He believed he could create an ideal world through a combination of law enforcement and an educational system he designed himself. But it all came crashing down when he discovered that his educational system never took off, and that the government was instead brainwashing humans into acting like nice, proper citizens. Ever since then, Daiki lost his sense of self-confidence. That's the true reason behind why he steals treasures: It's a form of self-deception, to give himself a reason to move forward even when there's nothing left to believe in, not even himself.

And as stories like that go, stealing treasures doesn't really make him feel contented, so he just keeps on stealing and adding to his collection in order to fill that empty void. One day he'll find that sense of belief again, but right now he's still a bit too trapped in his own delusion that he would need someone else to snap him out of it, even if he doesn't realize it yet.

Abilities - Aside from being an annoyingly cheerful troll, he can fight pretty well in both melee combat and using firearms, as well as scale buildings, leap off high areas, and randomly appear and disappear (seemingly out of nowhere), which supports his role in the series as a phantom thief. He presumably has excellent research-fu skills because he knows everything about everyone, just like that bitchy gossip queen you've met in High School. He can also transform into Kamen Rider Diend using his Gun Diendriver.

As Diend, he has the ability to move with increased speed using the Tesla bands located around the suit's wrists. Diend's other abilities depend on the type of card he inserts into the Diendriver. Right now, he'll only have 3 AttackRide cards, the Diend Blast (rapid fire coming from the Gun Diendriver that can target opponents), Invisible (renders him invisible in battle—usually when he needs to escape), and Barrier (projects a shield). Additionally, the Diendriver has the capability to summon other Kamen Riders to fight alongside him, but he won't be able to in-game since he doesn't have any KamenRide cards. Diendriver also does several more awesome things that he won't be able to do in-game, woe.

He can also cook really well, just like a loving houseband!

Possessions
Transformation Loading Gun Diendriver: That one transformation device
Kamen Rider Diend Card: Inserted into Diendriver so he can transform into Kamen Rider Diend
AttackRide Card Diend Blast: Rapid fire that targets enemies
AttackRide Card Invisible: Turns him, well, invisible

Appearance - Daiki Kaitoh and his really ugly-ass blue Kamen Rider Diend suit.

Sample: - "I alone decide where I journey."
